The core sequence

Six decisions a model cannot own for you.

Generation is probabilistic. The practical method is to make the creative decisions explicit, hold important elements stable and revise one meaningful lever at a time.

01 · Method
Core lesson

1. Find the governing image

Choose one scene or object that makes the abstract conflict inhabitable before adding decorative metaphors.

2. Define the listener promise

Write the problem, desired state, question or identity sentence a stranger should recognize immediately.

3. Write the lyric before polishing sound

Give verses concrete evidence, make the chorus distill rather than summarize, then earn a late turn.

4. Prompt with attributes

Describe vocal texture, room, instrumentation, dynamic arc and exclusions instead of requesting a living artist clone.

5. Compare controlled variants

Hold the lyric and core brief stable, generate small sets, label the changes and reject version-shopping chaos.

6. Keep a provenance trail

Record lyrics, prompts, model or plan, dates, versions, edits, stems, visual sources and disclosure wording.

Catalog case studies

Three different ways a song can open.

These are songs, not claims of causal proof. They show distinct craft mechanisms that can be inspected and tested.

02 · Watch

Mechanical metaphor

The Dopamine Factory

A contemporary problem made physical through a production line, then redirected toward self-implication.

Color and place

Green & Blue

A memorable color pair carries autobiographical distance, attachment and the problem of returning.

Direct accusation

Die Masken der Moral

A mask image and second-person address create velocity before the speaker enters the same moral machinery.

A disciplined generation loop

Change the smallest lever that could solve the failure.

A weak chorus may need a better lyric, not a brighter master. Muddy emotional delivery may need more silence or a different vocal brief, not ten unrelated generations.

Useful comparison requires labels. Keep a simple version ledger: what stayed fixed, what changed, what improved, what broke and why the chosen take won.

Freeze the lyric

Do not rewrite the words while trying to diagnose arrangement.

Generate two takes

Small sets make listening decisions clearer and reduce novelty bias.

Compare against the brief

Score the same dimensions: vocal, intelligibility, dynamic arc, structure and emotional fit.

Change one lever

Tempo, density, vocal restraint, instrumentation or section instruction—not everything.

Curate and document

Keep the winning reason and the discarded failure, then preserve the provenance record.

New tutorials

Frequently misunderstood

AI music without certainty theatre.

No prompt guarantees a masterpiece. No view count proves why a song worked. No polished vocal removes the need to examine authorship, consent, rights and listener trust.
