Privacy, contact and transparency
Your story should travel only as far as necessary.
This notice explains what happens when you send a commission request, which outside services load on the site, and how to ask questions or request deletion.
1. Who is responsible
Traveler’s Mindset is operated by Thomas Lukaschewski. For privacy questions, access requests or deletion requests, email commissions@travelersmindsetmusic.com.
2. Commission requests
The active commission form asks for your name, email address, preferred package and deadline, story, desired emotional outcome, language, intended use, privacy preference, musical direction and boundaries. The first form accepts text only—no files and no payment details.
The information is used to assess your request, answer you and, if both sides agree, prepare a possible commission. The usual legal basis for this processing is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Security and abuse-prevention processing is based on the legitimate interest in keeping the form reliable.
3. Delivery, storage and recipients
When you submit the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the request for automated abuse. The website then sends the written request through Cloudflare Email Service to the private Traveler’s Mindset Gmail inbox. The website does not add the request to a customer database. OpenAI provides the website hosting, Cloudflare provides domain, anti-abuse and email-delivery services, and Google provides the destination mailbox. Their current notices are available from OpenAI, Cloudflare and Google.
A request that does not become a project is normally deleted within 90 days after the last contact, unless it must be kept longer to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. If a project proceeds, relevant correspondence may be retained for the project and for applicable accounting, contract or legal obligations.
4. Your choices and rights
You may ask for access, correction or deletion of your information, and where applicable restriction, objection or a portable copy. You may also complain to the data-protection authority that applies to you. Contact Traveler’s Mindset at the address above. No commission request is decided by automated decision-making.
A testimonial, excerpt, case study or completed work is never made public from the privacy selection in the inquiry alone. Public use requires a separate written agreement. Silence is never permission.
5. Private song-feedback requests
The song-feedback form accepts your name, email, song title, review type, language, creation method, a private or public HTTPS listening link, the decision you need help with, and optional lyrics or context. It does not upload audio files. The request is delivered by email to Thomas and is used only to assess, scope and answer the proposed review.
Make sure any private link is shared lawfully and can be opened by the intended recipient. Submitted music, lyrics or links are not displayed publicly. Requests that do not proceed are normally deleted within 90 days after the last contact, subject to the same legal exceptions described above.
6. Hosting and international processing
The hosting and security providers may process ordinary connection data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser information, requested page and timestamp. Cloud providers may process data outside your country; their contractual safeguards and privacy terms apply. Do not use the form for information you are not comfortable sending by email.
7. External media
Pages include YouTube and Spotify players, and song artwork may load from YouTube’s image service. Those services can receive technical request data and apply their own privacy terms. YouTube playback uses the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Visitors can instead use the direct YouTube or Spotify links.
8. Listening Room notes and votes
The Listening Room accepts a selected song, note type, written note, optional display name and optional country or place. An email address is not requested. Notes are stored for review and appear publicly only when the visitor explicitly agrees and Thomas approves them. Pending or rejected notes are not shown publicly; you may request deletion through the contact address above.
To reduce repeated submissions and duplicate poll votes, the site creates a one-way security identifier from connection and browser information. The raw IP address is not placed in the Listening Room database. Notes containing links may be rejected automatically. Poll totals are public, but individual votes and security identifiers are not.
9. Payments and changes
No checkout is active. Any paid commission or song review begins only after fit, scope, revision limits, cancellation terms, license, tax handling and payment arrangements are confirmed in writing. This notice may be updated when the site adds uploads, payments, analytics or other services. Last updated: 1 September 2026.
